It was Wednesday morning. We all got up pretty late since we didn't have classes to teach until 1:15. I fumbled and sat down. Mom had prepared mango, pineapple, and cereal. We all ate. Then boredom began to set in. So I did some yoga, checked my facebook, checked my email, ate some food, and sat bored. Dad got up suddenly and we into his and mom's room. I then heard him say, "Gloria, Holly, come here!" "What?" I replied. "One of the Goats just had triplets!" Mom and I jumped out of our seats and went to the window. There on the roof of the house next to us, (the roof is the goat pen) we saw a very fat looking nanny goat and three wet kids. They had literally just been born. Dad had heard some unusual bleating so he decided to take a look. If he had looked thirty minutes earlier I am sure he would have seen the nanny actually giving birth.
Theodora and Sister Charlotte saw mom and I looking out of the window at the new born kids. The called over to us and told us to come and see them. We grabbed our cameras and ran over the the roof. The little things were still weak and shaky. Charlotte picked one up and mom and I got to touch it. They are so soft. These little guys have been a definite plus to our adventure. Mom and I go over to see them almost every night. We just watch them run and jump and frolic about on the roof.
